MAISON SHIFT – house and home of Switzerland’s sustainable fashion community – returns to the heart of the Marais for Paris Design Week in September with its ‘Fashion Futures’ pop-up and think-tank.






In partnership with the like-minded Mkrs.family ecosystem and the Centre culturel suisse On.Tour, MAISON SHIFT is inviting ten independent Swiss design studios to showcase, discuss and celebrate their work in conversation with a local ecosystem of artisans and thinkers during Paris Design Week.

A colourful selection of sustainable fashion, jewellery and accessories goods by the selected designers will be available for purchase at our Pop-Up Market all week to promote awareness of the diversity and quality of Swiss design. 


To contextualize the displayed collections, MAISON SHIFT is organizing a supporting program of round tables and industry events:


‘Fashion Futures’ Talks
Friday, September 6

To foster cross-border exchange, five of the featured Swiss design studios invite like-minded Paris-based brands to a conversation around the shared quest for holistic creation, production, and business practices, and the future of the fashion industry.

The talks are open to the public – anyone welcome – and will be moderated by Kate van den Boogert, founder of mkrs.family. For listeners outside Paris, the conversations will be live streamed on MAISON SHIFT’s Instagram account.

MEET THE WINNERS


The participating studios convinced an international jury on the basis of their clear aesthetic identity, the importance they place on implementing sustainable practices, their long-term business model and product quality as well as their unique point of view.



Remo is a Swiss fashion design studio developing soft textiles and a creative practice caring for natural resources and living beings and aiming to reconnect fashion with nature. remo’s ready-to-wear and lifestyle limited collections are made entirely from natural fibers, handcrafted into unique textiles, made locally, in Switzerland.








Gina Grünwald i an upcoming Swiss designer and fashion design graduate from Central Saint Martins, based in London. The zero-waste designer and founder of brand GINA GRNW has made it her mission to layer her fashion with a response to the social and environmental matters of our time: working both as fashion brand and social business. The result is ecouture, a union of colourful, forward-thinking designs with an uncompromising ethical practice.







Joanne Guiraud, a Swiss jewelry designer, crafts customizable pieces that contour the body curves and shapes. Her collections, made primarily from recycled materials, offer sustainability and sentimental value. They seamlessly blend the realms of jewelry and lingerie, embodying her unique vision. Each piece is meticulously designed to enhance self- confidence and sensuality, inviting the wearer to explore their bodies and the way we wear jewelry.









LUNDI PISCINE is a Swiss genderless clothing and accessories brand based in Geneva. The brand is inspired by the workers and their uniforms in the daily life because
they deserve to be sublimated. By combining upcycling, handmade and screen printing in limited series and unique pieces, without genre or season, LUNDI PISCINE is part of a sustainable, joyful and inclusive fashion produced in an ethical way. LUNDI PISCINE makes no compromises on colors and prints with alway a touch of humor.




















TATI is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic textile designer who is currently based in Basel. TATI THINGS combine used materials, knitwear, funky prints and nostalgia to unravel the power of folklore and traditional handicraft as weaponry in her fight for women’s rights.

To enrich the Pop-Up Market, MAISON SHIFT invites five other Swiss studios to showcase select pieces from their collections in Paris.





CASA VAYU was founded in Zurich, Switzerland, with the intention of creating unisex and womenswear garments that stand for craftsmanship, precision and fair production. The House of Winds focuses on creating seasonless and timeless silhouettes and clear aesthetics. Slowing down and taking each step with a sensible mind is our passion and a true luxury.










Nebulae is a jewelry brand that handcrafts recycled silver heirlooms inspired by new imagined worlds. Every piece is crafted with care by designer and silversmith Julia H Figueroa in her Lausanne atelier. Nebulae develops gender neutral jewels that will fit every ear, everyone. Grow your own microcosm one jewel at a time.









Cauchemar is an accessories label with its foundation rooted in a deep interest in craftsmanship, a passion for textile materials and an unsatisfied thirst for artistic expression. Main focus lays on leather manufacturing and knitting.







Based in Geneva, ZORAOBER is a brand of contemporary accessories blending artisanal techniques and modernity shapes with a splash of colour and joy. Inspired by heritage and innovation, each piece is carefully crafted in Switzerland from natural or upcycled materials, embodying a fusion of urban style and outdoor escapism.










Founded by Niklaus Mettler in 2016, In’n’out Fragrances is an alternative house of perfumery. Drawing on his background in Graphic Design, Mettler brings a sharp understanding of visual culture to the world of scent, creating olfactory experiences that communicate across an imaginary, multi- sensorial and tangible level. In addition to commissions and work relations, including commercial brands as Jacquemus or Balenciaga, In’n’out produces self-initiated projects in collaboration with artists from various disciplines.
