STUDIO RESIDENCY AT MAISON SHIFT

Starting out in the design industry without your own infrastructure or studio can be challenging. That is exactly why we are offering you a unique opportunity:
Residency at MAISON SHIFT in Zurich: From April to October 2026, we offer two graduates a rent- free workspace in our project space for seven months.

About us: MAISON SHIFT is a collective of designers and makers with the aim of promoting sustainable fashion in Switzerland. Collaboration, networking and communication are at the heart of what we do. We work with leading initiatives, organisations and projects in the fields of sustainability, fashion, circularity and design, and we are also active beyond the Zurich area.

Aim of the residency: We want to support graduates from the Swiss textile and fashion design scene in taking their first steps into the world of sustainable fashion. Together, we set a sign for innovation and responsibility in the Swiss textile industry.

What we offer you
  • Seven months of a rent-free clear desk workspace in the MAISON SHIFT project space

Who we are looking for: A motivated young designer with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fashion, textile or product design, with a focus on sustainability, who wants to pursue their own path in the creative industry.

Requirements
  • Graduation in 2024 or 2025 (Bachelor or Master)
  • A strong engagement with sustainability
  • Ability to work independently
