The support program for emerging designers runs from April to October 2026. During this time, residents will work on new projects, experiments and bold approaches for the future of the industry in our project space. The residency program provides space for innovation and supports talented individuals on their way into professional life.

Christophe Ascençao
Christophe Ascençao is an industrial designer based in Zurich, graduated with honors from ECAL. His practice centers on textile innovation, with a particular interest in 3D knitting and material-driven design. He explores how technical textiles can be reactivated and reimagined to create new kind of objects and spatial experiences, combining circularity and sensory comfort.
Mitja Haring
Mitja Haring is a fashion designer exploring vulnerability, resilience, and communication through garments. Inspired by natural cycles and tensions within the human condition, his work challenges social taboos around illness and fragility. Through material experimentation and considered construction, his designs balance protection and exposure, strength and sensitivity.
