In this course, you will learn how to create your own visor cap from old clothes or fabrics. Two basic patterns will be available as a starting point. We will discuss various finishing methods and look at details to make your piece even more personal. You will receive input for further development and adjustment of the pattern.
Jope Schneider studied fashion design in Basel. Since 2020, he has been working in the community studio at the ZWZ. Sewing as a craft and the use of available resources are central to his practice. He researches and develops in the fields of fashion, sculpture, relief, installation, and performance. A playful approach and humor are part of his daily work.
In our workshops, we always work on sewing machines sponsored by BERNINA.
